Geena Davis

Geena Davis is an American actor writer, producer, and model with a net worth of $30 million dollars. Geena was one of the most prominent leading ladies in the 1990s and 2000s. Her most famous roles include "Thelma and Louise", “A League of Their Own" and "The Long Kiss Goodnight". Geena was born Virginia Elizabeth Davis on January 21, 1956, in Wareham Massachusetts. Her mother Lucille was a teacher's assistant and her father William was an engineer in the civil sector. She became fascinated by music early as she played flute, piano and the organ in her teens and was an organist at the local Congregationalist church. She was a student at Wareham High School, and was an exchange student in Sweden. Geena Davis received her drama degree at Boston University. She worked as a window model for Ann Taylor, until she was offered a modeling contract with Zoli. The couple, who were married at that point, reunited professionally with the sci-fi film "The Fly" in the year 1986. It was a major commercial success which helped establish Davis on the Hollywood acting scene.
